How to Unlock Thinkpad Laptop Passowrd Windows 10 If Forgot Admin Password

Step 1: Log on another computer with admin account, download and install Windows Password Rescuer Personal. Run the program and burn to a writale CD/DVD/USB Flash Drive.

Step 2: Set your HP laptop to boot from CD/DVD/USB device.
Insert the burned CD/DVD/USB to your Thinkpad laptop and start it, press F12(some computer need +Fn key) as soon as possible to open Boot menu. Press up/down key to select your device and press Enter key, then the laptop will restart automatically and boot from CD/DVD/USB flash drive.

Laptop restarts and boot from your password recovery disk…, for a moment, Windows Password Rescuer Personal will run automatically and show you a friendly interface.,

1. Select your Windows system.

2. Click your admin account from list.

3. Click "Reset password" button, when a confirm message pops up, click "Yes".

4. You admin account password has ben removed and show "blank".

5. Click "Reboot" button, when a confirm message pops up, remove your CD/DVD/USB and then click Yes to restart your Thinkpad laptop.

6. After restarting, it will log into your admin account automatically without password! Congrats that all files and settings are still there! Nothing lost.

 

Option 2. Create a new admin account to Windows 10 on your Thinkpad laptop without logging in.

 

1. When your Thinkpad boot from the password recovery disk and load the Windows Password Rescuer. Click Add User button.

2. When a dialog pops up, type in a new user name and password, click OK. Then the new admin account will be created and shown in list.

3. Click Reboot button, when a confirm dialog appears, take out your password recovery disk and then click Yes to restart your Thinkpad laptop.
